- DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IELTS GENERAL AND IELTS ACADEMICS
Ielts general is for migration and work. If you want to do a permanent residence scheme for Canada or Australia, you will need IELTS general. You will also need IELTS general for some types of work in the United Kingdom. For example, if you are gunning for caregiver work in the UK, you have to do IELTS general for UKVI. As a caregiver applicant in the UK, you need an overall of 4.5, and the individual module must not be less than 4.
IELTS academics, on the other hand, is for admission. Masters and undergraduate any overseas country. If you are a medical person(Nurse, Doctor, Medical Lab scientist, and Pharmacist) or you are looking for a skilled worker, you will also need IELTS academics. Some of these institutions in the UK will ask for ukvi IELTS academics and not just normal IELTS academics. Ensure you don’t miss these two.
